Guess what? The holidays have finally started for me! I have been looking forward to them real loads so I am just glad that they are finally here. I mean its not that i destest school or anything but i am just tired with it, so a break is always good.

However, i spent the last two days of school not at school but at the engineering quest at NUS. I didn't learn much at the two days quest though because there wasn't really alot being taught but instead there was much insight being game into the different fields of engineering. So i guess it is a gain at the expense of the other? Haha totally wrong context. There were some fun moment though, like when we went to the different labs to look at what they do. For example, there were a few very amusing robots that could dance and play soccer without being controlled by a computer or man at the mechanical engineering lab and we played woth non-newtonian fluids at the chemical engineering lab. Oh haha there was also a fun bridge building simulation at the civil engineering one.

Also met this two RGS girls whom were hmm fun to talk to. Hah, or rather i found out an overloading amount of information about one of them, elaine in like just two hours. It is seriously too coincidental but amusing.

You know, now that the holidays has started, i find myself idling my time away. It is so terribly terrible. However, i took a first step and downloaded it today but i guess i am not starting on them until i complete playing Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone on the computer. I have been tryin and tryng since like forever but i just can't kill voldermort that it is getting me all irked. Sigh.

Blogging revival attempt infinity

Well, this must be my infinity attempt to start blogging again because whenever i read my old posts, i find countless entries journaling about my attempts to start blogging and to continue doing it. But why dont i have the nagging doubt that this time is going to be different?

When i was reading the entries i also discovered something amusing. And that is my tendancy to blog in a rhetorical, i-am-talking-to-myself sorta way which i bet you find humourous too. But i seem to have lost that touch of self narration.

Things seem to be pretty queer recently although i admit that perhaps i do not open up nor share enough to and with some people and has a result of my neligence, we are no longer as close as friends as we used to be. I guess i regret that and i am sorry and i am going to try to not close up to me, myself and my circle of mud slapping and sloshing buddies anymore.

I want to be the disciple God had put me onto earth to be and Christ's disciples did not do select befriending so that is no reason why i should or have the right to exclude certain people if that is what i have been doing. And i just want to say that there really is no elite or special clique. We are all made equal in God's sight and anyone whos loves God and is keen to serve Him is part of the great biggg family.

Hey! i think that is too much heavy stuff for a blogging revival so to end on a happy note, I AM REALLY EXCITED ABOUT TUAO! Haha super duper extremly excited. but if course I have alot to do and prepare and to gear my spiritual walk with God more deeply so that i can be ready to share my faith convictingly with the villagers. (:

Children's Day Outing

Well okay so today was the 1st of october and if you've forgotten, its children's day. Not that it was any of my business but you see i went on a children's day outing with the kids in my church to West Coast Park. They were really quite mischevious its almost scary. They totally drained me of my energy. We had Mcdonalds for lunch after that (: Every year I'll tell myself "oh no I won't be going next year anymore" but I did enjoy looking at them play around even though me and shawn wanted to go on the flying fox thing too.

The third world war

There are some who believe that we are on the verge of a third world war especially after talks that Iran's prime minister could be planning to annihilate Israel and possibly USA too. I however doubt this is likely. Iran's economy does not even rank top 20 in the world, it is also said that America's budget is more than twice than that of Iran total gross domestic product (I admit I have no idea how significantly huge this difference is) with a more advanced and capable military to boot.

So, tell me how can a country where more that 40% of its population are living in poverty have the required defences and finances to start a war with the most influential country in the world? Let us not forget that dear Mr Adolf Hitler who had stared the second world war had overthrown the weak Weimar Republic to be in control of the most powerful country in the late 1930s. Germany was the second largest industrialized country and had a powerful army. Furthermore I believe Tehran's ongoing threat of the capabilty of their nuclear weapons is of no comparison to the former USSR threats during the cold war.

Iran's inefficient president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has also failed to live up to his promises of spreading the country's wealth from the export of oil more equally. Thereby living his country plauged in poverty and disappointed citizens who thought he would be "different". However Israel and USA shouldnot lower their guards as I've also read that it was Iran who had provided Lebanon with weapons that took down 3 of Israel's planes.

Okay honestly I have completely no idea why I am gibbering about Iran and the possibility of a third world war. Lets just say that I was inspired by an article I read. By the way, several points in my completely brainless were taken from the article. Anyways thanks for reading, presuming that you actually read it. Fantastic week. Exams have ended, results will only be out around 1st October. Long way to go. God bless.

The notebook

Upon hearing that Nehe actually has the "The Notebook" book, I've asked to borrow it and am totally keen on reading it now. Afterall it is supposed to be a nice book even though I have not watched the movie either. Honestly romance books are not my thing at all, but movies are and if I've read the book, it would give me more incentive to watch the film.

I had chemistry practical on monday, after which Sheila, Parveen, Jiaxin and Me went to bum around the at the pizza hut at thompson plaza. It was really funny because we had the window seat and we were sort of watching the people whom were climbing the overheadbridge outside. Then there was this adult man who was stomping up the stairs like a little kid, shaking his butt. It really cracked us up.

Today was social studies prelims today, felt really blessed about how smooth the whole thing went despite me being unable to straighten out my thoughts for the essay on governence. But it is okay! I guess it always awes me whenever I am able to put my trust in God because you can never fully fathom what he could do for you.

So yes, thats my two sense worth on my exams and studies. I am trying to blog less about studies since Irvin feels that i only blog about football and school which isnt very true la. I have passion for stuff other than football and studies lahs. Hopefully Sheila will sort out/get out of her ridiculous lastest interest and not get caught up with it.

A Revival Attempt

Hello! Well, due to "popular" demand, me- Cheryl will attepmt to start a blogging revivial again. However I seriously doubt I will be successful. Recently I've been hooked onto something new-online shopping. I have not exactly bought anything online yet but I enjoy just looking at the merchandise aren't found in Singapore. Online shopping isn't the most productive thing to do, it is totally time consuming. Furthermore things that look pretty online usually turns up 'dreah' when you received it.

Okay so I am totally feeling totally unhappy with the new England coach right now- steve McClaren. He had excluded David Beckham out of his squad, his first match(which is a friendly with Greece) has England coach. And like it was not enough to just exclude him, he had to come up with tonnes of contradicting excuses for his burgeoning pride. Lets see "At this moments I am looking to take this team in a different direction. That is why I decided not to pick David Beckham. I want to make this team successful , to qualify for tournaments and to do well. I want to produce an England team that wins matches and plays a certain style". So the old England team werent succesful isit? So Beckham has no hand in the victories that led England to the quaater finals isit? "David Beckham is a player I've admired. He's a tremendous player and captain and I've got a good relationship with him". I am sure la, everyone knows that Steve McClaren doesnt really like Beckham. You can't just go around kicking players out of your team then make up statements that totally contradict your actions. And I am sure he knows that Beckham was responsible for 3 out of 6 England goals in the world cup. You just can't. I am not biased. I like England, I am not fond of Sven-Göran Eriksson or anything.

Once again a week has past extremely quickly. I did not remember see anything pretty this past week and am regreting the decision of mine to only blog about pretty things. The idea seems ridiculous now. I am glad the Italy won the world cup instead of France. I mean that is a considered a pretty sight too right? And like everyone else i too have a lesson to learn from the "Zidane-Materazzi head butt incident" though i shall not tell you what it is. I shall not give my two cents worth either in case I am being accused for "watching soccer to see Kaka". No insults intended. (:

I just watched Moulin Rouge for like the third time, I use to like it alot but now having watched Rent, I really prefer Rent. So I shall get the dvd soon. A few days ago I went for speech day rehearsal and what really blew my mind was Christina Suresh. Its crazy, she takes 8 subjects and she is like/got first in form, first in class, emath prize, amath prize, physics prize, chemistry prize, biology prize, tamil prize and combined humanities prize. In other words, that is basically everything. Charmaine finally gave me my birthday present, still it was really nice of her. Thanks. (:

I am trying to be more hardworking these days (especially since prelims is apparently coming) and at the same time not neglecting God. I do realize that I have alot to study and have not much time left but I like watching television alot too. Ha my point is that it is really dumb to try and juggle TV and schoolwork because this two arent suppose to go together at all. I think I am really boring and have no life at all. Grr. It is toally insane.

I really do not have anyting to blog about anymore, see I told you that i was boring. But anyways do have fun for the rest of the week and God bless. (:

Football and Kaka

Hello everyone! I know I have been on hiatus from blogging for quite sometime already. It feels quite weird to actually start blogging now as I dont know how many people actually do remember I have a blog. However is is never too late and i am going to start now and i assure you that it is going to be interesting. Haha for one I shall no longer blog about my day to day activities, instead I am going to post fashion pictures and of course dresses, bags and jewellery that catches my eye. That is why it is going to be interesting: because pretty things always catches my eye. I might take some time to be interesting though.

Like everyone else, I've caught the football bug. Soccer obsessed? Nah. Well, other than the fancy mathces that has been going on I have also been noticing the players. Namely Kaka and Beckham. And appareantly Kaka is not only a great soccer player but he is also Armani jeans campaign boy.

David Beckham should not have gave up captaincy. Is he crazy there is like no argument about this at all. He was not a bad captain, I dont think so at least. And he was not to be blame for England's exit out of the wrold cup. if anyone was to be blamed it be no one. Okay thats was dumb. Sheila borrowed this book: "This time the dream is coming true, the inside story on england's 2006 world cup challenge". It is sad to even read the book. Beckham had so many visions for the team that he would no longer be able to achieve. And they thought they would win. An in some quotes in the book, all the members agree that he was a best captain.

Haha, hi everybody! Exams are finally over for quite some time already. My results are not very fantastic, but some of them are already good enough for my expectaions. Yes, so I am actually pretty content. I honestly have to thank God, He had certainly blessed me with many things I do not deserve (not only results). Some people might think that I am shallow, thinking that I think that everything revolves results. That is not what I meant. I did not bring my calculator to physics exam, entirely my fault. mr Ng certainly did not have to lend me his. I did not do 16 marks worth of questions. You know what? Nevermind, its personal (:

I caught Mission Impossible 3 and I liked it, it was good. Duh right? J.J Abrams directed it and he was the one who had created Alias. (: MI3 was just essentially so like Alias. The flashbacks, starting, the way the agent met his handler at 7-eleven, adrenaline jab and the trusting thing. They even have the same music composer and some Alias cast cameo in it too. I am not trying o sound naggy, but if you enjoyed MI3 then you have to watch Alias. Seriously.

Last day of my major exams

Today was supposed to be a happy day as it is the last of my major paper. But today is probably the worse of my exam days. I feel sad, I feel angry, I feel horrid. Fantastic. It is ironic isnt it?

I love the political catfights that have been going on. Between all the different political groups. But what actually surprises me is that opposition actually won two seats (I rather they did not). They are going to have difficulty bringing 'prosperity' to their elected constituencies.

Wow. Hey guys! It has been long since I last blogged. I was kind of lazy and busy. Examinations are nearing, so the pressure is kind of on everybody to just study and do nothing else, which we all know is terribly insane. In fact my social studies and english papers are on Friday. But I watched The New World had the new Cathay Cineplex with Shawn, Chialynn and Hannah. Haha. We originally wanted to watch V for Vendetta but Chia and Hannah were too young plus the showtimes were late. I don' really like the new world. It is too grass and sea for me. Ya but anyway there was this part where Pochahontas went: "I like grass" and Chialynn started laughing like mad.

The Oscars and Walk The Line

Hey everybody! today is Saturday, five days ago were the Oscars. This year was the first year where the Oscar winners were the people whom I hope would win. Like,
Best Picture: Crash. Btw Crash is a really sad show, okay not sad but heart-tugging.
Best Supporting Actress: Rachel Weiss.
Best Director: Ang Lee.
But i dint like the Supporting Actor and Actor winners, George Clooney and that Capote guy.
Another thing that i remembered was Jennifer Garner. This is like her first public appearance since she gave birth to violet. But anyways She was walking to the mike stand smiling alot to present some award when she tripped on the lining of her dress and almost fell! But she took it really well and gracefully said "I did my own stunts".

Okay I think I'm getting boring. But on Wednesday, I watched Walk The Line! Oh my, it is such a wonderful show. Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon can sing really well even though they are just actors. AND before you start telling me they used a double, The actors trained for like 6 months to learn how to sing. But anyway Elvis Presley (Tyler Hilton) was in the movie too. Apparently Johnny Cash and Elvis were friends and even toured together. I think Joaquin Phoenix and Tyler Hilton is really hot and I like them. (: haha. Hey! everybody likes dashing musicians! I bought the soundtrack, now I'm just waiting to buy the dvd.

You know, I'm feeling very miserable now. Because today Ng Song Foo predicted that I'll get an A2 for physics Olevels. It is just that i've always been hoping for a one and he says unless I'm prepared to work hard, it will be a little difficult. I always thought that i might be able to get a one, because i am err pretty good in physics. But today i saw the ranking for physics year end exam last year. And even though I'm first in my class, A girl with the same mark as me is like 6th in the triple science class. So yea, I am pretty much in denial.

I'm suppose to be doing my homework now. But I really dont feel like doing anything except wait for Grey's Anatomy to start at eleven. Listening to Green Day now. Boo. had physics test today. Was pretty okay, other then like a 2 mark mistake.

I think Gemma Ward is really cool. She is like 18 or smth like that, but she is a pretty famous couture model. Aha. I want a dress lah. I think I better go off soon if not I'll never finish my hw. (:

Today is Sunday, and the past week has been pretty great. The reason for my "Hitler is a evil man" title is because i've been studying for my history test tmr and i realized that he does not keep his promises. Sudetenland and Poland after that. Yea and tuesday I'll be having a test on a long geography chapter.

Great Bible class and sermon today. hmm. you know I really cant think of anyhting to say. today then I realize that Olivia has an Ipod nano. and all of a sudden it seems like i'm the only one with a 4th gen Ipod left on this planet with no colour screen. But i'm contented and i will only buy a new one when my dies, which wont be soon

You know, I've got really lot of things that I want to buy. I want Island by Michael Kors or Blush by Marc Jacobs. Then i also want a new pair of straight cut jeans and new shoes and i really like Tiffany's Lockent necklace thing. I shall stop rambling about my wants. So unglam. Tomorrow's monday, great my favourtie weekday.

Okay, I really got to go study history again now, if not I will really die tomorrow. And i think my hair is like so short, I want it to grow grow grow.

My new favourite TV show.

ohh heys!! This sounds crazy, but I think I like a different TV show every december. Well last year was alias for me, I still am crazy over alias. But now I like the o.c too. I am sort of lagging since I only started watching season one like last wednesday? And nothing else? Ryan isnt very good looking, seth is pretty funny. Okay whatever. But even though I like the o.c now, Alias is still my favourtie show. Do you know that season 5 will be its last episode? Like whatever? Pissed. Hmm I am getting boring.

You know? I really despise homosexuality, the act, not that people. I dont despise homosexuals. love the sinner, hate the sin. :) This sounds so.. nevermind. And actually gay guys are pretty hot too right? like those who dress well and all. Haha I am getting wierd. Okay change of topic. You know? I dont exactly have much to say. I am going to Olivia's christmas choir concert on saturday (: hahah.

Okay haha, I am back again and i shall blog. I just came home from Joseph's house. Had to walk to long route in, great, exercise uh? Oh by the way, I have got a new favourite tv show. Haha theo.c is now one of my favourite tv shows, slow right? but yea anw I like it now that i havw watched it on dvd. I dont exactly have anything to say. Ohh i saw a bee (or at least i think it is a bee) in my room, it was like buzzing all around my lamp. And i caught it with this transparent tupperware container. But honestly i think the only reason I caught it was the bee was dying and could not flying anymore (wonder what happened).

I've watched Harry for the second time last monday and it was fun. Haha I also had to watch cedric die for a second time. You know, cedric is really handsome. Whatever right? But he is, its undeniable. Honestly I am beginning to realize i use too much 'hahaha" and "muahaha" in my typing which is really dumb, so i shall stop. Halliliah is in egypt looking at mummys now . Ahaha! I have finally watched it, after such a long wait. The show was fabulous. And you dont have to worry about reading my post, I am not going to post any spoiler. Yea but it was a nice film, disappointing to the book though (just like everybody had expected). Cedric is cute. Muahaha! I don't really know what to post about anymore. I was contemplating if I should put Cedric's picture on this blog, but i am not going to. It's dumb. I shall stop blogging tata.

Butterflies

Okay i got to type a really quick post cause i have to go do my homework. Muahahah. Okay Anyway the most significant thing that i have encountered this week are butterflies. I saw two BLACK butterflies in one week. Two in one week. O my. And let me tell you, I was terrified! Ahh. I really was. And i got scolded by my mom, for screaming at the butterfly. Something along the lines of me being so fierce and all actually being scared of a butterfly. Hello? like since when was it a crime to dislike butterflies.

School is officially over. But I've still got chinese dance, and my legs totally hurt now. I have decided to start on homework early so that i could do sec 3 revision after that. Well at least i think i will. Sigh. I love homework!

Thay killed Michael off Alias in episode one. But i think he is coming back on episode 7, wee! Mahaha.. I am so pissed of with everythin, everything. I must be going mad. I cant wait for thursday, cause i will be watching Harry Potter and The Globet Of Fire (yes i must type out the whole title) with Olivia, Michelle, Cassandra, Chialynn, Karen and Natalie. Muahaha.

heys! wow it has been long since I last blog (I better watch what I say nowadays) and I have decided to start blogging again. And I have decided to start typing in proper english, capital 'I's and all. The exams are finally over and my results aren't very satisfactory but I am still grateful. I am sick now, bad sore throat. Yesterday I went for care team at Irvin's house and I got to walk past my old school! :) However it looks hmmm.. not very pleasant at night

I know it sounds wierd but I am really excited about The Goblet Of Fire. :) I just can't wait to watch it. Haha and the wierdest thing is that I have actually been looking at those movie stills on the net. And like the entire cast all look so grown up now. O and I like Cedric Diggory, he is like the most good-looking one among all of them okay! I think it is going to be an interesting movie. Okay I really dont know what to blog about anymore.

O yah, last monday was America's Next top Model's finale. And Naima so totally dont deserved to win okay! Kahlen is like so much more talented and pretty. And they let that Naima who won't stop crying win. Rolls eyes. I mean so what if kahlen wasn't confident enough or so they claim, she is just better. Whatever. I like watching television so much, I better start doing my work. And there is this baby girl in church (she is caucasian) she is like so so gorgeous, blonde hair and all. hmm i shall upload her photo. bleah.

haha lalala heys, its the end of te week again *grins. i am going to watch alias later and csi :). i love the ends of a wek cause well its a short break from tiring school. i skipped chinese dance one haha. i am so lazy. and this past week i guess i have learnt another lesson about being too close to someone to find out that she has been bitching. "cheryl makes me hang around with her and her friends, and i dont want her to get angry cause she gets really annoying when she is angry". right, little does she know that the letter she wrote was shown to me, how sweet. she thinks we are on bad terms, but oh how wrong she could be. ohhh well.
heh. i scalded my hand. on thursday we got to do a physics experiment in the lab where we had to heat up stearic acid to melt it so as to test the freezing point. and when it was time to keep the apparatus, i very 'unknowningly' held the tripod stand with my bare hands. how smart, and it was like so hot la. i also didnt have an instantanous reaction.. only after a little while i was like "ahhhh" and dropped the thing. diao me. and on wednesday's chem experiment was worse. we had todo three titrations with hydrochloric acid and soduim hydoxide. i added in the universal indicated before i even added in the solution. and my teaccher was like cheryl you cannot do that.. but i cldnt stop laughing.. and i only got one titration right.how hopless. but honeslty its not my fault its HALLILIAH she was talking to me "is this right". ohh no i am so mean.
sigh.ahhh i am so tired.. i like jon jonsson. :) i had his picture on my display. i am tied my eyes hurt. but i want oto watch alias. :) tata goodnight and God bless.

monday: desperate housewives. i love that show, its like comedy, drama and mystery put into one. rex is going to die of heart attack, thanks to that perverse pharmecist (wrong spelling). carlos wasnt suppose to go jail but because of last minute interferance from the dear gardener, jon he most probaly will. zach is actually not mary-alice and paul young's baby, but is the baby of drug addict Dierdre. well dierdre is somehow related to mike, i think mike is her ex boyfriend or smth. but anw paul young and mary alice killed dierdre, chopped her up and stuff her into a toy chest underneath their pool 15 years ago. that was why mike was searching for dierdre.

END OF SPOLIERS. AHAHA.

hahaha even though i like desperate housewives i like ALIAS even more. heh i love that show. i want the DVDs. :) last week sydney kissed sark :) i bet sark is like overjoyed. okay wtv i am getting so lame. i love television.haha. momday: desperate housewives. tuesday: csi and alias. wednesday: charmed, manhunt and nip/tuck. thursday: lost. is that alot? oops. haha jon jonson, the guy from manhunt is hot :). okay i really should stop yakking away. i think i sound so perveted. sigh. i am so bored.

heys. well as you can see i obviously have a new blog already. and this is because people in my school were spamming my blog and i just dont want it to happen again. so i would appreciate if nobody passes my URl to people from my school. :) okay i know i sound pretty egoisitc. i doubt i even spelt 'egoisitc' correct, but nevermind. but i sont want the incident to happen again.
heh today was sunday. so i went out with my mom after church, to eat and stuff. yea.. and i got a new nalgene bottle. hahahaha. its yellow orange. heh. ohhh.. i really love alias.. i am going to watch season two again later, after i go offline. you know i am literally over-obsessed about alias. which is a really bad thing cause i will end up spending loads on my err alias obsessions? sigh.. so i try to wait for a month before i get the stuff that i want. to see if i really still want it or not (i tend to forget things after awhile).
o man i cant wait for the new harry potter book to come out!! i wanna read i miss reading. bleah? haha. and i will make it my second semester resolution to revise every night so as to be prepared for end of years. ahahhaha i sound so kiasu. bleah.
